Our Business

In September of 2008, Don and I decided to start up a new and exciting business (A Scuba Store).  We want the name to represent something with diving and came up with Giant Stride Scuba, Inc.

 Scuba Divers know a giant stride as a way of entering the water and the name also summed up the leap of faith in taking a giant stride in starting a new business. 

 We are offering sales, service, trip excursions, and training through internationally known PADI certification for all course levels from Open Water to Divemaster, along with PADI Specialties and Master Scuba Diver.

Who We Are

My name is Tammy Holsonback.  I have been a PADI diver since 1987.  In 2000, I became a PADI Open Water Instructor.  I have continued with my training and I am currently a PADI IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR. 

 My husband, Don Holsonback, became a PADI Open Water Diver in 2000 and is currently a PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER INSTRUCTOR.
